"Whack!"
Luo Feng's slap landed on Li Haoran's face, causing everyone in the hall to instinctively clutch their own faces.
Without needing to think, it was obvious just how much that slap must have hurt Li Haoran.
"This kid's got some guts. I doubt this precious darling of the Li family has ever been wronged like this before!"
Some of the highly esteemed elders of Longcheng couldn't help but admire Luo Feng's demeanor, their eyes carrying a hint of respect.
"You little..." Li Haoran's eyes were ablaze with fury as he cursed.
"Last time, I let you off because of Senior Sister Seven's face, but if you dare spew nonsense again today," Luo Feng interrupted, ignoring Li Tianchen who was beside him, and reached for a shoe horn.
Seeing this scene, Li Haoran was terrified, scrambling to hide behind a burly, dark-skinned man with fierce eyes, panicking, "Uncle Li, save me!"
The man glanced at the gloomy Li Tianchen, then turned to the calmly composed Gu Lao, already formulating a plan in his mind.
"Kid, don't let the Gu family use you as a pawn. The Li family isn't something you, a little brat, can provoke. Stop now and apologize, and I'll spare your life!" With one foot forward, a terrifying murderous intent burst from his eyes.
But Luo Feng just smiled, continuing to swing the shoe horn.
This was his answer.
"Seeking death!" Veins bulging on his face, the man's massive fist shot out like lightning straight towards Luo Feng's heart.
Since the Gu family wanted to embarrass the Li family through Luo Feng, as someone from the Li family, he had no qualms.
However, the man failed to notice the meaning behind the smiles of Gu Lao and Gu Xuexian present.
While the punch was fast and highly damaging, Luo Feng's shoe horn swung even faster, almost unbelievably so.
Suddenly, everything went black before the shoe horn mercilessly struck the man's face.
With a muffled groan, the man staggered backward, losing his balance and flying backward.
The saying goes, "Don't hit someone's face." While Luo Feng's move wasn't very damaging physically, it was deeply insulting.
"Dad, save me!" Li Haoran never expected that even the most trusted Li family bodyguards couldn't stop Luo Feng, and he called out in despair.
Watching Luo Feng charging towards Li Haoran once again, Gu Xuexian stepped forward in time to grab her mischievous junior brother.
"Xiaofeng, that's enough. Don't escalate things and become a laughingstock," Gu Xuexian said coldly, glaring at Li Tianchen, her voice ringing out clear and assertive, "Today, on behalf of the Gu family, I'll tell the Li family again: no man of mine, Gu Xuexian's, could ever be from your Li family. Do you understand?"
"Gu Xuexian," Li Haoran clenched his fists in shame and anger, wanting to say more, but Li Tianchen, who had been silent all along, finally spoke up.
His voice lacked any emotion but carried a terrifying coldness.
"Are you not ashamed enough? That's enough."
"Dad, the Gu family is bullying us like this. Are we just going to take it lying down?" Li Haoran unwillingly protested.
Li Tianchen remained indifferent, his gaze shifting from Luo Feng to where Gu Lao was seated. He nodded slightly, then bowed before leaving the hall, his voice echoing from outside.
"Let's go. Back home!"
"Dad, wait for me!" Li Haoran looked fearfully at Luo Feng, then quickly got up and followed the man with assistance.
"Dad, with Luo Feng causing a scene like this in front of so many acquaintances and humiliating the Li family, with Li Tianchen's vengeful personality, I'm afraid this won't be resolved so easily!"
It had to be said that for Gu Qingyun, who adhered strictly to conventions, Luo Feng's decision to resort to violence in such a serious setting was incomprehensible.
This kid was truly too impulsive.
But Gu Lao didn't see it that way. After witnessing Luo Feng's straightforward and forceful actions, he looked at Luo Feng with even more admiration in his eyes.

After the event ended, Gu Lao even invited Luo Feng to ride in the same car with him.

Li Haoran angrily slammed the table. If this matter got out, he would have no standing in Phoenix City.
"What's the rush?" Li Tianchen picked up his tea, his eyes icy. "I've told you countless times, a man needs to remain calm when handling important matters. Haste makes waste. Today's insult to you and me, father and son, I will make sure that arrogant kid and the Gu family will pay back twice as much."
Li Haoran was stunned, then delighted. "Dad, does this mean..."
"Yes, let's not escalate this. Our Li family's foundation in Phoenix City is still unstable. We need to proceed with our plans carefully."
"Dad, I understand," Li Haoran joyfully patted Li Tianchen's shoulder, sneering, "When the time comes, I'll make that bitch Gu Xuexian and that kid wish they were dead."

"Xiaofeng, you really went too far just now. How could you dare to hit Li Haoran in front of so many people?"

Gu Xuexian couldn't help but give a helpless look at Luo Feng, who was sitting at the dining table, causing a stir.
"Li Tianchen is the kind of person who holds grudges. He won't let you off so easily. It might be better for you not to go out in these recent days," Gu Qingyun frowned and looked at Luo Feng.
"Uncle Gu, Master often teaches me that when faced with unpleasant situations, the best way is to make your opponent feel uncomfortable. Since he dares to insult Senior Sister Seven, I won't just sit back and do nothing."
Gu Qingyun's expression wasn't too pleasant, more of disappointment towards Luo Feng.
He then found an excuse and left.
"Xiaofeng, that's just his personality. Don't mind it," Gu Xuexian whispered as she noticed her father's dissatisfaction with Luo Feng's behavior at the event.
But Luo Feng just smiled, his smile inscrutable. "Is Uncle Gu angry?"
"No, no, just pretend like nothing happened."
"Alright, I'm going to take a shower," Luo Feng smirked, bowed to Gu Lao, and headed back to his room.
Watching Luo Feng leave, Gu Lao raised his glass and took a sip, becoming more interested in Luo Feng.
"They say Li Tianchen is quite shrewd, but why do I find Luo Feng even more terrifying?"
"Grandpa, Xiaofeng is just a simple person. How could he be terrifying?" Gu Xuexian was not very pleased with her grandfather's perception of Luo Feng.
Gu Lao smiled knowingly. "Dear, I'm afraid you've never truly understood your seemingly impulsive junior brother."
Back in his room, Luo Feng took a shower, changed into clean clothes, and then sat down to meditate, his breathing calm and steady.
At this moment, his face no longer bore the innocence it did before. Instead, it resembled a fierce tiger ready to pounce at any moment.
Suddenly, a dark figure appeared outside the balcony.
Luo Feng slowly opened his eyes, naturally focusing on the direction of the balcony, his expression indifferent.
"You followed me from the mountain to here. Aren't you tired of not sleeping?"
