MSSU Chapter 6: True Master

Slowly, Luo Feng opened his eyes, naturally directing his gaze towards the balcony, his expression indifferent.

"You followed me from the mountain all the way here. Don't you ever sleep?"

In the pitch-black room, with a dark balcony and starry sky, Luo Feng at this moment seemed like a different person, as if possessed by an evil spirit.

His once harmless face now carried a shadow, and his eyes, like warm black gems, concealed years of pent-up anger.

He had every reason to be angry, he should have been angry since childhood.

Sensing Luo Feng's killing intent, the shadow on the balcony smirked, its cracked lips twisting into a sinister angle.

"You clearly care about my appearance here, so why say things like that to provoke me?"

"When did I say I care about you?" Luo Feng raised an eyebrow.

"You deliberately caused so much trouble as soon as you came down from the mountain. First, you risked your life to save someone on the road. Then, you got into a fight at the Dragonfish Hotel for your senior sister. And today, you openly defied the local prominent families in Longcheng."

"Yes, in the eyes of outsiders, you're just a foolish kid relying on your senior sister's support, knowing nothing," the shadow continued. "But I understand you, because only I know what a dangerous guy you really are. You just want to make sure I'm still by your side, right?"

Silence. A deathly silence.

"If that's what you think, then I have nothing to say," Luo Feng slowly closed his eyes, a faint smile playing on his lips.

"Well then, are you ready to go home now and crush that man under your foot?" the shadow eagerly asked.

"Not yet, because... I'm too weak."

"Weak?" The shadow seemed to find Luo Feng's response the most amusing thing in the world, chuckling softly. "You really are a Versailles, Third Young Master!"

With that, the room was suddenly knocked on, and Gu Xuenian rushed in.

Instantly, the shadow vanished into thin air, and Luo Feng returned to his harmless appearance.

"Sister Seven, you didn't even ask if it's convenient for me. What if I'm not dressed?" Luo Feng protested.

Gu Xuenian, clad in a white silk robe, with her jet-black wet hair still unblown, stuck to her delicate face.

With hands on hips, Gu Xuenian disregarded the fact that they were both adults now, and simply lay down beside Luo Feng, her legs, which countless men in Longcheng worshipped, unconsciously kicking in the air.

"What's there to be afraid of? We bathed together when we were kids," Gu Xuenian said.

Luo Feng almost choked on his saliva, speechless. "Sister Seven, we were kids back then. Now that we're all grown up, we should be more careful. What if word gets out? Won't you marry then?"

Gu Xuenian's eyes sparkled, her jade hand propping up her cheek. Her sexy nightgown showcased her perfect curves as she teased Luo Feng.

"Seriously, Sister Seven doesn't want to give those stinky men outside an advantage. Marrying anyone is the same, isn't it? Or..." Gu Xuenian blushed, biting her red lips, her voice as soft as a mosquito, "Or we could be together?"

"Sister Seven, you're up to your old tricks again," Luo Feng, who had already grown accustomed to Gu Xuenian's antics since the last time she mentioned wanting to have children with him, smiled wryly. "This joke isn't funny."

Gu Xuenian rolled her eyes. "I can see that you don't like Sister Seven. Alright, fine, if you don't like it, you don't like it. I don't care. But let me warn you, Little Feng, if I find out any of the other six senior sisters have an improper relationship with you, I'll castrate you."

"Don't worry, it won't happen," Luo Feng said, feeling terrified for the first time upon seeing Gu Xuenian like this, instinctively covering his crotch.

"Okay, I won't tease you anymore. I'm going to the company tomorrow. Do you want to come with me?" Gu Xuenian asked.

"Sure, as long as I can learn something with Senior Sister Seven. After all... I'm too weak," Luo Feng replied.

"Don't worry, Senior Sister Seven will take care of you for the rest of your life. You can learn slowly," Gu Xuenian suddenly leaned over and lightly kissed Luo Feng's cheek before quickly leaving his room.

The room fell into darkness once again, and the voice of the shadow sounded with a teasing tone.

"Young Master, you're quite fortunate. For so many years, you've been accompanied by seven peerless beauties."

"I'll give you a task," Luo Feng ignored the shadow's comment.

"You want me to do something?" the shadow asked in surprise.

"You're just a dog sent by that man to lurk in the shadows. No matter how capable you are, you're still just a dog. And I am his bloodline. If you call me Young Master, shouldn't I be able to give you orders?" Luo Feng said.

"You're becoming more interesting, Third Young Master. What is it?" the shadow asked.

"It's a trivial matter to you," Luo Feng smiled.

...

The next morning, Luo Feng got up and had breakfast with Gu Xuenian before heading to the company she was in charge of.

Gu's Enterprises! A conglomerate worth billions.

Undoubtedly, Gu Xuenian's business acumen and status gave her an unshakable authority within the entire Gu's Enterprises.

As Gu Xuenian strode into the lobby, all the employees present bowed and addressed her as "General Gu," as if the Ice Queen had descended. Gu Xuenian nodded lightly, holding Luo Feng's hand, ignoring the astonished gazes of her subordinates.

"Who is that? General Gu is actually holding his hand?" someone exclaimed in surprise.

"Don't you know? This kid is said to be the one who, yesterday, in front of many big shots in Longcheng, dared to hit Li Haoran from the Li family."

"This kid is really asking for trouble. Li Tianchen's son dared to lay hands on him. Don't we all know what Li Tianchen used to do? He's someone who even has blood on his bread."

"But he's lucky. He's met General Gu, so the Li family probably won't dare to touch him!"

Undoubtedly, Luo Feng's appearance had caused a butterfly effect within the entire Gu's Enterprises, and almost the entire morning was spent discussing him.

Wherever Luo Feng went, countless pairs of eyes would gather around him. Even the senior executives of the Story Group, when they saw Luo Feng, would bow and scrape, making Luo Feng feel awkward even when he was urinating in the bathroom.

So, at noon, Luo Feng greeted Gu Xuenian and ran out of Gu's Enterprises.

He randomly found a roadside dumpling shop, and despite never being able to eat enough, Luo Feng ordered three large bowls and began to enjoy this quiet moment.

But just as Luo Feng was about to eat the second bowl, someone sat down opposite him.

This person had a thin face, eyes showing a hint of shrewdness, dressed somewhat shabbily, and at the moment was staring at Luo Feng's third bowl of dumplings with envy, swallowing saliva.

"Want some?" Luo Feng asked.

The man licked his dry lips. "Brother, I'm not asking for a freebie. If you give me a bowl of dumplings, I'll give you a gift."

"What gift?" Luo Feng looked the man up and down. This guy looked even more down and out than himself.

The man also sized up Luo Feng and made a startling remark, "Brother, you must be a martial artist, right?"

"I can tell from your distinct knuckles, steady and powerful breathing, and restrained gleam in your eyes. You must have encountered a bottleneck, haven't you? Am I wrong?"

Luo Feng was stunned, amazed at this man's insight.

He had heard his master say before, "To hide among the crowds is the ultimate skill. Those who can move about in the secular world without being noticed are the true masters."

"Could this man in front of me be even more powerful than my master?"

With a faint smile, the man seemed to sense Luo Feng's distrust and directly pulled out seven martial arts books from his gray cloth pocket.

"These seven peerless martial arts, passed down only to males, are invaluable. Today, I'll give you a cheap deal. One bowl of dumplings for one book. How about you pick one?"

Luo Feng didn't speak because he couldn't speak. He stood up abruptly, staring in disbelief at the seven books.

What a revelation! "Aren't these the seven ultimate martial arts of my master?!"
