SBDSI Chapter 45: Only Worthy of Ordinary Seats

**Chapter 45: Only Worthy of Ordinary Seats** Qin Qi remained silent, casting a cold glance at the newcomer. “Fan Meili, you used to like opposing me back in school, and I’m not in the mood to deal with you today.” “I won't allow you to compare him with your boyfriend. Your boyfriend isn’t even fit to compare fingers with him.” Fan Meili burst out laughing, her expression radiating arrogance as she faced Qin Qi. “My boyfriend can't compare to him? That’s hilarious! Qin Qi, you really know how to embarrass yourself. This guy is dressed so plainly.” “He even brought you to sit in ordinary high-speed train seats; he clearly doesn't have money. How can he compare to my boyfriend?” Qin Qi gritted her teeth, visibly upset.  “My boyfriend can afford a Ferrari; he owns a Ferrari, which is much better than your boyfriend.” Her pretty face flushed crimson. Seeing Qin Qi's embarrassment, Fan Meili laughed even harder. “Just him? He can afford a Ferrari? That's too funny!” “A ...

WIIAD? Chapter 11: Startling Talent!

As the two entered the set, Qi Lin remained oblivious, but Wang Xiaohua clearly felt the strange looks people were giving her. She could guess what they were thinking—how she had the nerve to come back, and what she was doing here.

Most people's expressions were normal, but Xu Zheng's face turned unpleasant the moment he saw Wang Xiaohua. He was all too aware of her capabilities. The instant he saw her, he knew that Qi Lin, the promising talent, must have signed with her!

At that thought, Xu Zheng felt a deep sense of regret. Who could have imagined? Just a day had passed, and she moved so quickly! Yesterday, he had just informed his boss about discovering a promising talent and planned to offer a B contract after filming. But today, Qi Lin already had an agent. How could anyone take this?

Xu Zheng looked at Wang Xiaohua and snorted, "Got him, did you?"

Wang Xiaohua's smile was warm and friendly, easily endearing her to people.

"Look at how you put it. What do you mean 'got him'? I recently left Dongfang Media and happened to have no artists under me."

"Qi Lin is such a promising talent without an agent. How could I miss out?"

Xu Zheng's expression was complicated. In the end, he could only sigh, "You really moved fast! I just talked to the company yesterday about a B contract for Qi Lin, planning to sign him after filming. Who could have thought you'd be so quick!"

"That doesn't matter. Why not sign Sister Hua along with Qi Lin into Tangshi?"

As they spoke, Han Xue walked over with her baby-faced assistant.

Han Xue's face was full of smiles, her expression kind, leaving Qi Lin bewildered, wondering if this was the same woman or her twin sister.

Wang Xiaohua shook hands with Han Xue, smiling. "Miss Han, I'm really sorry about what happened with Huang Yi. I didn't expect..."

"No need to explain. If not for what happened with Huang Yi, we wouldn't have met such a great talent as Qi Lin."

After speaking, Han Xue smiled and nodded at Qi Lin before turning to Wang Xiaohua. "Sister Hua, what do you think about my previous suggestion? Joining Tangshi wouldn't degrade you, right?"

Wang Xiaohua smiled, "I still need to think it over. This time, I'm mainly here to see old friends and apologize for what happened before."

There were some things Wang Xiaohua didn't say directly—that these two alone weren't enough to make her join Tangshi. The conditions they could offer weren't what she wanted.

For starters, Wang Xiaohua would never agree to a mere B contract for Qi Lin!

After arriving at the set, Qi Lin got ready with makeup and wardrobe, then started filming.

Wang Xiaohua stayed by his side the entire time, taking notes in a small notebook.

During a break in filming, Qi Lin curiously glanced at the notebook, seeing a long list of items.

Personal assistant, work assistant, makeup artist, stylist, driver, bodyguard...

Seeing the long list, Qi Lin was a bit confused. "Sister Hua, what are these?"

Wang Xiaohua smiled, "That's your team."

Qi Lin looked at the list in awe. "How much will all this cost a month?"

"You won't have to pay for it. The company will."

Qi Lin was relieved to hear it wasn't coming out of his pocket, but then he realized something. "Sister Hua, does this mean you're joining Tangshi?"

Wang Xiaohua nodded with a smile. "Of course. You're still new. Do you know what it means to 'lean against a big tree to enjoy the shade'? But don't worry, this is only temporary. With your potential, I believe we can establish your own studio within a year or two."

Wang Xiaohua then asked curiously, "I noticed this morning that you have an excellent memory for your scenes. Is that right?"

Qi Lin nodded, "Yeah, especially for actions. As long as I see it once, I can mimic it almost perfectly."

Wang Xiaohua's eyes lit up, "What about expressions? Can you mimic them too?"

Qi Lin nodded again, "Yes, expressions are no problem either. I can memorize general texts too, but English is tough for me."

"Can you control your eyes?"

Qi Lin paused, thought for a moment, then shook his head.

Wang Xiaohua felt a bit disappointed but then heard Qi Lin say, "I've never tried that."

Wang Xiaohua got excited and pulled up an image on her phone, showing it to Qi Lin.

It was a photo of a father sending off his son at a train station, his weathered eyes filled with reluctance.

Wang Xiaohua eagerly said, "Try to mimic this expression and those eyes!"

Qi Lin studied the image, then lowered his head to adjust his emotions.

Wang Xiaohua was a bit nervous. If Qi Lin could do this, it could save three to four years of learning time!

As she envisioned a bright future, Qi Lin raised his head, emotions adjusted.

The moment Wang Xiaohua saw Qi Lin's expression and eyes, she was momentarily taken aback.

With just one look, Wang Xiaohua was reminded of her late father!

It was an expression filled with reluctance, love, and pain, conveying deep emotions directly to the heart.

But in the next moment, Qi Lin rubbed his eyes, and all the tenderness and reluctance vanished.

"That was really exhausting, Sister Hua."

Wang Xiaohua snapped out of it, slapping her thigh. "We've struck gold!"

This was more than just innate talent; it was like the gods themselves were feeding him!

Wang Xiaohua paced, exclaiming, "What a shame you didn't go to the Beijing Film Academy! If you had, so many top directors would have signed you by now! Going to a sports university is a waste of your talent..."

Wang Xiaohua suddenly fell silent, remembering that Qi Lin was an elite athlete—a person who could receive a state stipend and had made his mark in the sports world.

Curious, Wang Xiaohua asked, "Why did you choose to go to a sports university? Or rather, why did you pursue sports?"

Qi Lin recalled and then said wistfully, "At first, I just wanted to learn martial arts."

"Within two years, I realized no one could beat me. Later, my coach said if I could defeat all my peers, I could be recommended to Beijing Sports University."

"Back then, I didn't know much about universities, but I really wanted to beat everyone!"

"After winning, I got into Beijing Sports University."

Wang Xiaohua: "..."
