ROSGT ### Volume 1, Chapter 34: The Shamate Anthem

"Finally, this song is done. It's really nice," Fang Nan said, satisfied after they had spent more than an hour finishing "Ningxia." Although there were some discrepancies compared to the original, Ye Cui felt it was close enough. After all, he wasn't a professional songwriter and had only listened to the song frequently, making him familiar with its melody.

Ye Cui couldn't read sheet music, but he was thrilled to hold the score Fang Nan had written for him. He planned to give the sheet music to his sister and have her try singing it.

"Chuichui, do you have any other songs?" Fang Nan asked, still eager for more. Having studied piano and loved music since childhood, she had a strong desire to hear good songs.

Ye Cui had countless great songs in his mind, but which one should he share next?

"I got it!" Ye Cui's eyes suddenly lit up as he remembered a particular catchy tune. Seeing the explosive performance style of the band in the bar earlier had reminded him of a famous shamate anthem.

Suppressing a laugh, Ye Cui said to Fang Nan, "This next song might be a bit unusual, but it's catchy."

"Okay, Chuichui, sing it quickly," Fang Nan urged, her eyes shining with anticipation.

Ye Cui chuckled, prepared himself, and then belted out the song:

"Brace-faced girl, how lovely, such powerful legs you have. Find an American girl, holding a hunt for beauty, hurry up and go, girl. Oh, monster, how lovely, my girl is almost mine, good. She's still an American girl, so pretty, looking at you with endless love, too wooden to be humane..."

(PS: When reading this part, it's recommended to search for the cover of "Cuo Cuo Cuo" by HKT, Asia's number one band, for the full experience...)

Ye Cui sang with enthusiasm and emotion, leaving Fang Nan utterly stunned.

This song was... so peculiar.

Though the lyrics were strange, with lines like "such powerful legs," she wondered if Ye Cui had a sister complex. But despite the odd lyrics, the song was incredibly catchy and had a weirdly captivating power.

Finishing the song, Ye Cui asked proudly, "How is it? Nice, right?"

"It's nice... but aren't the lyrics a bit odd?" Fang Nan asked curiously.

"This song is called 'Cuo Cuo Cuo,' and that's just how it goes," Ye Cui explained with a chuckle. In reality, the original version of this song was quite serious, but after being covered by the shamate band, it turned into an invincible anthem. Ye Cui loved these humorous songs and had memorized the translated lyrics for fun.

Every time he hummed the lyrics, he found them amusing.

Now, he looked at Fang Nan and said, "Help me write down the melody for this song. The prelude goes like this, da-da-da-da-da-da..."

Ye Cui decided to have someone sing this song for fun later on. However, he definitely wouldn't let Ye Ling sing it.

Fang Nan snapped out of her daze and quickly recorded the melody that Ye Cui hummed. Despite its strangeness, she had to admit it was a good song, catchy and infectious.

They worked for another hour, and by midnight, the score for "Cuo Cuo Cuo" was finally completed. Fang Nan, now yawning, handed the sheet music to Ye Cui. "Both songs are really good. I can't wait to hear them performed."

She placed the guitar on a nearby table, ready to leave. Seeing Ye Cui still sitting in his wheelchair, she offered, "Chuichui, let me help you onto the bed."

"Uh, no need..."

"It's fine."

Ignoring his protests, Fang Nan walked over, put one arm around Ye Cui's shoulders and the other under his arms, and with a grunt, lifted him up.

Ye Cui was stunned. How could Fang Nan, with her slim arms, muster such strength?

Clearly, Fang Nan was too tired to remember to hide her natural strength.

After placing Ye Cui on the bed, she yawned again and left the room.

Ye Cui was still in shock. "It must be an illusion... definitely an illusion..."

...

"Ring ring ring..."

Early in the morning, Ye Cui was awakened by a ringing sound. Rubbing his sleepy eyes, he searched for the source of the noise, finally realizing it came from his wrist.

It was a communication request. Someone wanted to talk to him.

Squinting, Ye Cui grumpily answered the call.

"Hello, is this Professor X?" Wang Zhaoming's annoying voice came through. "Hello, Professor X."

"Hello, my foot!" Ye Cui snapped, annoyed. He had been dreaming about happily listening to songs with his sister when the call interrupted. "What do you want?"

"Professor X, your latest game, Eliminate, is still a huge hit. I'm really impressed. Do you have time? I want to invite you out for a meal..."

"No time!"

In a foul mood, Ye Cui yelled at his portable terminal and hung up. Wang Zhaoming wanted to discuss their bet, but Ye Cui was determined not to give him a chance. He could go to hell!

Unable to fall back asleep after the call, Ye Cui got dressed, climbed into his wheelchair, and went to the bathroom to wash up.

Afterward, he opened his portable terminal to check the Software Alliance Forum, as usual.

By now, Eliminate had reached 25 million downloads, which meant 250,000 in revenue!

The speed was astonishing!

It had taken just two days to surpass Link Link's total downloads, which now stood at 23 million.

The forum was filled with praise and amazement for Eliminate, with no dissenting voices—thanks largely to Zuo Xiaoyou, who had banned countless accounts two days ago.

However, besides the excitement over Eliminate, two other pieces of news were hot topics on the forum.

First, Zuo Xiaoyou's resignation had left many netizens claiming the forum would no longer be enjoyable without her and vowing not to visit again.

Second, and more notable to Ye Cui, was this:

"SB Brain Software Company’s software development manager, Huang Xiaotian, announced on the forum that they plan to establish a game development department..."
