Chapter 180: Over Three Hundred Naughty Kids!**

At Qian Xiaomai's orphanage, there were 343 orphans including Wang Shiyu. When Qian Xiaomai signed the handheld game console contract with Ye Chui, she had agreed that once Ye Chui's factory was established, he would provide 342 consoles as payment for Wang Shiyu. These consoles were intended as gifts for each child in the orphanage.

Ye Chui always remembered this number, so when Qian Xiaomai mentioned it now, he immediately understood that she intended to bring all the orphanage children to Cao Kang's wedding.

Despite Qian Xiaomai's occasionally annoying demeanor, she exuded a kind of saintly glow. Her somewhat harsh personality aside, she was constantly thinking about the children in the orphanage. Naturally, Ye Chui agreed to her request without hesitation. Besides being touched, the most important thing was—

Whoa, over three hundred naughty kids!

And these weren’t just any kids; they were brought by Qian Xiaomai, kids whom even the wealthy families wouldn't dare to mess with. Just imagining the scene of these three hundred plus kids causing a ruckus at Cao Kang's wedding...

"Should I remember to bring a camera to capture the memories?" Ye Chui couldn't help but think.

"Oh, right." Qian Xiaomai suddenly remembered something.

She was holding a syringe, about to administer an injection to Ye Chui. Now that Ye Chui's leg muscles had recovered, and his skin was smooth again, Qian Xiaomai no longer minded the propriety between men and women and personally gave him the injection.

While she was preparing, she continued, "Those kids don’t have any nice clothes to wear. How can they go to such a luxurious, fun, and delicious banquet without new clothes? So, their clothes are up to you."

"Oh, come on..." Ye Chui shouted.

The saintly glow on Qian Xiaomai's face disappeared instantly.

She was still an annoying brat after all…

Outfitting 342 orphans? That would cost a lot!

But compared to ruining Cao Kang and Lin Xin's wedding, this was nothing. Plus, with Street Fighter 2's sales reaching over three million, Ye Chui wasn't short on money for the time being.

Although he felt like giving Qian Xiaomai's baby-faced cheeks a good pinch, he gritted his teeth and agreed.

"The wedding is the day after tomorrow. Get me the sizes for the kids, and I'll have the clothes ready before the wedding."

"I already had my aunt measure them earlier. The list should be ready by tonight," Qian Xiaomai said cheerfully.

Whoa, she had planned all this ahead of time!

Anyway, it was settled that Qian Xiaomai would attend Cao Kang and Lin Xin's wedding.

Ye Chui transferred the remaining three million for his leg treatment to Qian Xiaomai. She gave him some final instructions about his legs, and then Ye Chui left the research facility with Fang Nan and Wang Shiyu.

On the way back, something occurred to Ye Chui, and he contacted Lin Xin.

The connection was quickly established.

Before Ye Chui could speak, Lin Xin's sweet voice chimed in, "What's the matter, Ye Chui? Did your girlfriend change her mind about attending my wedding?"

"Rest assured, I wouldn't miss your wedding for anything," Ye Chui said coldly. "I just wanted to ask if I can bring a few more people."

"Bring a few more people?" Lin Xin snorted, "Sure, bring as many as you want. But remember, our wedding is a grand event. All the prominent families in Xishi City will be there. Bringing extra people won't help you, and if you cause trouble, you'll only embarrass yourself."

"Thanks for the reminder," Ye Chui sneered. "I hope you won't mind if I bring a lot of people."

"Ha, as if a few more people would make a difference at our banquet."

"Good."

Ye Chui ended the call, feeling quite satisfied. "That's settled then. But preparing clothes for all those kids will take time. Nan, you and Eva handle it tomorrow."

"Okay," Fang Nan agreed. Then she added, "We've been busy with King of Fighters lately. Shouldn’t you get a suit for the banquet? We should look presentable, right?"

"Whatever you think is best. It's not our wedding, so it doesn’t matter much."

Given Ye Chui's personality, he'd prefer to show up in shorts and slippers, which would be quite cool. But since he was still in a wheelchair—though his legs were gradually recovering, it would take time to fully regain their function. It could take days or months, depending on his willpower.

"I'll try to stand before the wedding," Ye Chui thought.

Fang Nan calculated quickly, "The kids at Qian Xiaomai's orphanage must have it tough. I'll get them three or four outfits each to thank her for helping with your treatment. That’ll cost tens of thousands."

"No problem, we've made a lot from Street Fighter 2. The game is a brand, and King of Fighters is launching tomorrow. We don’t need to worry about money for now," Ye Chui said with a smile. "Besides the clothes, let’s get some toys for the kids. Let them have fun at Cao Kang’s wedding."

Fang Nan chuckled at Ye Chui's enthusiasm. Before she could respond, Wang Shiyu piped up, "Brother, Sister Nan, let me pay for the clothes and toys. I have a lot of pocket money."

"That's sweet, but there are over three hundred kids. Keep your pocket money for yourself," Fang Nan said, patting Wang Shiyu's head.

"But I have over two million, and I don’t know how to spend it," Wang Shiyu said, troubled.

Fang Nan and Ye Chui were stunned.

"Two million?" Ye Chui asked, regaining his composure. "Two million points? Even if it’s two million points, that’s a lot..."

"It's two billion points," Wang Shiyu corrected. "Converted to our currency, it's two million."

Ye Chui laughed. "You’re exaggerating, aren’t you?"

"No, I’m not," Wang Shiyu insisted. "You said you could help me convert my two million points to cash. Don’t go back on your word."

"You sound more convincing..." Ye Chui rolled his eyes. "Where did you get two million?"

"From a rich guy called 'Little Landlord.'"

After a moment of silence, Ye Chui and Fang Nan opened their portable devices to check the game platform's point leaderboard.

Indeed, the top player was now Wang Shiyu, under the username 'Arale.'

The former top player, Little Landlord, was now ranked below ten thousand, with only a few hundred points left.

Seeing Ye Chui and Fang Nan’s shocked faces, Wang Shiyu grinned proudly. "See, I wasn't lying. Brother, Sister Nan, and everyone else, I’ll cover your outfits for the wedding. I’m a little rich lady now."

Ye Chui and Fang Nan were speechless.

Wang Shiyu had been obsessed with playing cards recently, claiming she was befriending a rich player to win his points. She’d been very secretive about it…

Who knew that the rich player was Cao Kang!

This was going to be interesting.

After a moment, Ye Chui burst into laughter.

This would certainly spice up the wedding.

Since Wang Shiyu was so generous, offering her pocket money for their outfits, Ye Chui gladly accepted.

"We’ll wear the most expensive, flashiest outfits to Cao Kang’s wedding!" Ye Chui declared. "Shiyu, don’t forget to thank the groom for covering our expenses."

Wang Shiyu, quick-witted, agreed. "I won’t forget."

The two million points were already in the game company's account. As the owner, Ye Chui could easily access these funds. But instead, he had Zuo Xiaoyou clear Wang Shiyu’s account of the points.

Ye Chui then transferred two million from his own account as Wang Shiyu's pocket money.

The next day, the money turned into luxurious outfits for the team and new clothes and toys for the orphanage kids. Even Qian Xiaomai received a dress at Fang Nan’s insistence, though she planned to wear her lab coat to the banquet.

Dressed in a shiny suit, Ye Chui felt particularly satisfied, knowing that Cao Kang had indirectly paid for it.

"Cao Kang and Lin Xin’s wedding is going to be very interesting..." Ye Chui thought eagerly.
