ROSGT Chapter 127

 **Volume 1, Chapter 127: Isn't That Her?**

“Please leave the elevator.” The beautiful woman spoke in a commanding tone, as if it was only natural for Ye Chui, Fang Nan, and Fang Xi to leave because the elevator was overloaded.

Ye Chui frowned slightly, feeling a bit annoyed. Fang Nan, with her fiery temper, couldn't help but retort, "Why should we leave? We were the first ones in the elevator!"

"That's right. If it's overloaded, it's because of you," Fang Xi added, sensitive about his weight.

The beautiful woman snorted in displeasure, turning her head away with a look of disdain. She muttered, "These fans are so annoying. They'll do anything to stay in the elevator with me."

—In other words, Ye Chui, Fang Nan, and Fang Xi didn't want to leave the elevator because they wanted to be with her?

Ye Chui couldn't help but seriously scrutinize this woman. What kind of narcissistic person would say something like that?

"Hey, hey, hey, don’t get any ideas. Do you think celebrities are that easy to approach?" The effeminate man behind the woman said, flicking his wrist. "We’re in a hurry. Please leave the elevator. If you delay our important business, you can't afford the consequences."

"You have important business?" Fang Xi couldn't stand effeminate men and laughed mockingly. "Good, we have plenty of time. Let's see who can outlast whom in this elevator."

"You... you're insufferable!"

The effeminate man pointed at Fang Xi angrily and told the burly man next to him, "Dali, get these rude fans out of here!"

"Got it." The burly man named Dali cracked his knuckles with a cold smile, looking ready to fight.

Fang Nan's eyes flashed coldly as she quickly pulled her brother behind her. Just a few verbal exchanges and now they wanted to resort to violence? Fang Nan despised such behavior (…). She decided to teach them a lesson.

Ye Chui didn't want to escalate the situation. He had been in a good mood, but encountering such a woman ruined it. The burly man looked tough, but Ye Chui somehow felt he wasn't a match for Fang Nan, so he wasn't worried about making a scene. Worst-case scenario, Ye Ling could sign with another company. If this woman was indeed a Jinyun Records artist, Ye Chui didn't want his sister working with someone like her.

Just as the situation was about to escalate, Ye Chui heard Ye Ling's clear voice calling, "Brother!"

Ye Ling had just arrived and saw Ye Chui in the elevator. She ran over, calling out to him. Hearing his sister's voice instantly lifted Ye Chui's mood.

He smiled and turned to greet her, "Little Ling, you’re here."

He then turned to Fang Nan and Fang Xi, "Let's not bother with them. Let’s go."

With Ye Ling here, Ye Chui naturally wanted to be with his sister. There was no need to fight over the elevator anymore. Fang Nan and Fang Xi nodded, pushing Ye Chui out of the elevator.

As the elevator doors closed, the voices of the woman and the effeminate man could still be heard.

"Hmph, how annoying. I was in a good mood, but now it’s ruined," the effeminate man said disdainfully.

The beautiful woman had taken out a makeup case to touch up her face. "Having such nasty fans is a headache. I was supposed to meet the new music prodigy today, but now this…”

The elevator doors closed, cutting off their conversation.

Ye Chui, Fang Nan, and Fang Xi couldn’t help but look back at the elevator.

—She was meeting the new music prodigy today?

"She said she was meeting someone important..." Ye Chui couldn’t help but laugh, pointing to himself. "That important person is me?"

This was hilarious...

However, Ye Chui hadn’t notified many people about his visit today. How did this woman know?

"Brother Hammer, I didn’t notice before, but now that I think about it, I think I’ve seen her in some TV show," Fang Xi said thoughtfully.

Fang Nan nodded, "Yes, she’s that actress from *Family Feuds*... what’s her name again?"

"What’s her name?" Ye Chui asked.

"Yes, I remember now. She played a mistress in *Family Feuds*," Fang Xi said.

"Right, she played that role really well, but I can't remember her name..." Fang Nan said, frustrated.

Ye Ling had reached Ye Chui's side, her sharp eyes noticing, "Brother, was that the actress from *Family Feuds* in the elevator?"

"Little Ling, do you know her?" Ye Chui asked.

"I love *Family Feuds*. She played... she played..." Ye Ling frowned, trying to remember the name, but then laughed cutely. "She played that character."

Ye Chui was speechless. How unremarkable was this woman’s role that no one could remember her name?

"Fine, she's that actress," Ye Chui said with a smile.

The elevator came down again, and Ye Chui, Fang Nan, Fang Xi, and Ye Ling got in. As the elevator ascended, Ye Ling looked at Fang Xi and said cheerfully, "Brother Fang Xi, I haven’t seen you for half a month, and you’ve lost so much weight!"

"Really? I knew it!" Fang Xi beamed, striking a proud pose. "Sister, Brother Hammer, you hear that? I’ve lost weight. My diet plan is working!"

Ye Chui and Fang Nan were surprised, examining Fang Xi. Had he really slimmed down? They hadn’t noticed any difference.

Fang Nan thought of something and pulled out a photo from her portable computer, holding it up to Fang Xi for comparison. "This photo was taken six months ago. Let’s see if you’ve lost weight..."

After comparing, Fang Nan exclaimed, "Wow, who is this meatball in the photo?"

Fang Xi said sheepishly, "Sister, that’s me..."

Ye Chui glanced at the photo and then at Fang Xi, pondering, "Yes, when I first saw Fang Xi, he was like a meatball. Compared to that photo, he has lost a lot of weight. We didn’t notice at all!"

Fang Xi was immensely proud, grinning. "Soon, I’ll slim down and become a super handsome guy."

Ye Ling waved her little fists encouragingly, "Brother Fang Xi, I believe you can do it!"

Ye Chui and Fang Nan exchanged a look. Despite having a lot to say, they decided to support Fang Xi's recent efforts. Maybe he really could succeed.

Ding!

The elevator arrived at the fifteenth floor, home to Jinyun Records. The elevator doors opened, and Fang Nan pushed Ye Chui out.

Ye Chui immediately saw someone he didn’t like—Zhou Ming.

Zhou Ming smiled warmly, "Brother Hammer, I knew Little Ling was coming to sign the contract today, so I took time off to help."

As he spoke, he sneaked a glance at Ye Ling.

Ye Chui was displeased. How dare he look at Ye Ling like that?

Before Ye Chui could say anything, Fang Nan patted his shoulder, signaling him to calm down, and spoke to Zhou Ming first, "Thank you, Zhou Ming."

Then Fang Nan whispered to Ye Chui, "Stay out of it."

"He’s up to no good with Little Ling..." Ye Chui muttered angrily.

"Is that what you think?" Fang Nan rolled her eyes. This brother complex was too much!

Zhou Ming was humble and respectful to Ye Chui, not only because he was Ye Ling’s brother but also because Ye Chui was a rising music prodigy and the mysterious Professor X.

After greeting Ye Ling, Zhou Ming eagerly said to Ye Chui, "Brother Hammer, I love the games you’ve released recently, especially the latest *Fatal Fury*. It’s my favorite."

"Really?" Ye Chui responded coolly.

This guy was trying to charm him, but Ye Chui wasn’t falling for it—he wouldn’t easily let Ye Ling get involved with Zhou Ming!

Fang Nan couldn’t bear to look at Ye Chui’s expression. Did his brother complex have to be so intense?

"Oh, Brother Hammer, Qingci wanted to come today, but she had a commitment and will be half an hour late. She asked me to greet you first," Zhou Ming added, pointing to a nearby room. "Let’s go to the reception room. Someone will come to handle the signing shortly."

As they walked to the room, Zhou Ming opened the door, and Ye Chui was surprised to see it was already occupied.

"It's you again!?" The actress, in the middle of touching up her makeup, saw Ye Chui and frowned. "Are you those crazy fans again? How did you find me here...?"
