ROSGT Chapter 115: I Find It Annoying No Matter How I Look at It

 # Chapter 115: I Find It Annoying No Matter How I Look at It

Ye Chui and Fang Nan were happily eating their wontons when Ye Chui suddenly frowned, seeing someone he really didn’t want to see—Lin Xin was gracefully walking over from a distance.

Dressed in a long white dress, she naturally exuded a clean and pure aura. She was quite pretty, and her innocent demeanor had a fatal attraction for most men. However, knowing her true nature, Ye Chui could only feel endless disgust.

In contrast, Fang Nan, who was eating heartily, looked far more beautiful to Ye Chui.

Fang Nan, enjoying her wontons, noticed Ye Chui looking elsewhere and followed his gaze. Her face instantly turned cold. "What is she doing here?"

"I just remembered..." Ye Chui said with a bitter smile, tapping his temple. "I used to come here with her a lot. No idea why we bumped into her today."

Ye Chui had brought Fang Nan here purely because the wontons were delicious, with no nostalgic feelings attached. Fang Nan didn’t have any melodramatic misunderstandings either. She was simply annoyed.

Having a meal and chatting with Ye Chui at a street-side stall was enjoyable without interruptions, but it had to be spoiled by the least welcome person.

"Look at her fake, annoying smile. Who knows what she’s up to?" Fang Nan muttered, finding the delicious seafood wontons suddenly losing their flavor.

"Who cares?" Ye Chui shrugged and continued eating his wontons.

Lin Xin quickly sat next to Ye Chui, wearing a surprised look that made it seem like she had genuinely stumbled upon him by accident. She used her sweet, deceptive voice to say, "Ye Chui, what a coincidence! I didn’t expect to see you here. I’ve always loved the wontons here. I come to eat them every now and then."

As she was putting on her act, the stall owner smiled and approached. "Young lady, here for some wontons? My wontons are famous around here. You seem new. First time here? I recommend the corn and lean meat wontons; they’re the best."

Lin Xin’s face froze a bit, and she corrected him, "Sir, you must have forgotten. I come here often."

The owner looked her up and down. "Oh, you do look a bit familiar. Right, you used to come here a lot, but it’s been half a year since I last saw you."

Lin Xin’s face turned even more sour.

Ye Chui and Fang Nan could barely hold back their laughter, suddenly finding the wontons delicious again.

"Sir, a bowl of corn and lean meat wontons, please," Lin Xin said coldly to the owner.

The owner nodded and went to prepare the wontons.

Lin Xin regained her serene demeanor and asked Ye Chui, "Ye Chui, can I sit here?"

"Suit yourself," Ye Chui said indifferently.

Lin Xin sat down next to him, embodying the essence of a "green tea b*tch" (a woman who pretends to be innocent and pure while being manipulative and scheming).

It was as if the unpleasant meeting half a month ago had never happened, and her past betrayal of Ye Chui was completely forgotten. She acted like she was meeting an old friend, speaking cheerfully, "Ye Chui, I heard Xiao Ling signed with a record company and is going to develop in the entertainment industry. That’s wonderful. I always thought she had talent. She’s sure to become a big star."

"Yes, she’s going to be an international superstar," Ye Chui said with a happy smile, thinking of his sister.

Fang Nan chimed in, "Xiao Ling’s talent is undeniable, especially with all the songs Hammer has prepared for her. It’s hard not to become a superstar."

"So all those songs were for Xiao Ling, huh?" Lin Xin forced a smile, then added, "Oh, by the way, I’m planning to debut soon, but I haven’t found the right song yet..."

She then looked at Ye Chui pitifully, hoping he would help her out as he used to.

"Having trouble finding a debut song?" Ye Chui glanced at her with a smile. "Then keep looking. Why are you here eating wontons?"

"…"

Anger flashed in Lin Xin’s eyes, but she hid it well, continuing to act pitiful. "I’ve been so worried about finding the right song. I wish my debut song could be a beautiful, touching one…"

"Yeah, a debut song should be beautiful and touching," Ye Chui said thoughtfully, then turned to Fang Nan. "Is Ningxia good enough for Xiao Ling’s debut song? I have a few more great songs. Why don’t you record them for me when we get back?"

"More recordings?" Fang Nan said, a bit irritated. "You’ve recorded over thirty songs, all just as good as Ningxia. Isn’t that enough?"

"It’s Xiao Ling’s debut. It has to be perfect," Ye Chui insisted. "By the way, Nan, do you want to try your hand in the entertainment industry? I have a few songs that would sound great if you sang them."

"I’ll pass," Fang Nan quickly declined. "I don’t plan on being a singer. But if you want, I can sing for you alone."

"Then it’s settled. You’ll sing those songs just for fun," Ye Chui said with a smile.

Lin Xin’s face turned ugly.

Those god-level songs that made Fang Lao retire from the music industry were just for fun…

She couldn’t hold back anymore. "Ye Chui, I won’t beat around the bush. Name your price. I want to buy your songs!"

"My songs aren’t for sale. I give them away," Ye Chui said.

Lin Xin’s face brightened, thinking Ye Chui might give her a song.

But Ye Chui continued, "I only give them to people I find pleasing. As for you… sorry, but I find you annoying."

Lin Xin’s face contorted with anger. "I never thought you were like this! You made so many promises to me. You said you loved me so much. Was it all a lie?"

Ye Chui felt like he couldn’t eat the wontons anymore. He wiped his mouth with a napkin and looked at Lin Xin. "I need to educate you on something. First, being a hypocrite is called being a 'green tea b*tch,' and that’s exactly what you are. Second, there are smart green tea b*tches and stupid green tea b*tches. You’re obviously the latter, the enhanced version. Seriously, who are you putting on this act for? Do you really think anyone would genuinely love someone like you?"

"Ye Chui, you…" Lin Xin trembled with anger, standing up and glaring at Ye Chui. "Do you think you’re the only one who can write good songs? I can find amazing songs without you! In fact, A-Kang has already hired a top-notch band to create my debut song!"

Ye Chui shrugged, looking indifferent.

"Don’t you want to know which band it is?" Lin Xin pressed on, answering her own question. "It’s the Explosive Band. Their latest single is a huge hit. Their songs are just as good as yours!"

"The Explosive Band?" Ye Chui and Fang Nan were taken aback, then burst into laughter. It was that emo band…

Having them create her debut song?

Ye Chui chuckled and said to Lin Xin, "Congratulations. I’m sure your debut song will be quite impressive."

Lin Xin’s eyes flickered with doubt at Ye Chui’s attitude.

"Your corn and lean meat wontons are ready," the stall owner said, bringing over a bowl.

"I haven’t eaten this junk food in half a year!" Lin Xin snapped, turning and storming off.

After a few steps, she turned back and said, "My wedding is on the 28th of next month. I’ve already sent you the invitation. If you dare, come to my wedding!"

She wanted to humiliate Ye Chui by having him witness her marrying into a wealthy family.
