### Chapter 112: Follow Fork God and Play Games

The employees at Fork Warden Network Company had been busy and exhausted since the virus infection started yesterday. The Skull Seven virus was a formidable threat in their eyes, akin to an unstoppable flood or beast. Even after hiring the Jin Cheng Network Security Company, they didn’t believe there was much hope of removing the virus. After all, the Skull Seven virus was legendary. If its original creator hadn't destroyed it, it might have caused a disaster in the entire cyber world.

But... Robert easily and directly cleared the virus?

The entire process took less than a minute!?

Fang Xi snapped out of his daze and punched Robert in the chest. “Nice job, Carrot Tea! I didn’t know you were such a skilled hacker!” Seeing his good friend display such prowess made the chubby guy feel proud.

He then turned and sneered at Liu Jincheng, who had previously shown disdain for Robert. Now, Fang Xi returned that disdain tenfold.

Left Xiaoyou observed Robert with amazement and walked over to Ye Chui. “Where did you find this expert? Being able to clear Skull Seven so easily... he must be at the level of the legendary Seven Kings of Hackers, right?”

Left Xiaoyou also knew about the Seven Kings of Hackers. These legendary figures were well-known in the cyber world, though many doubted their existence and considered them mere legends. However, Left Xiaoyou believed in their existence and their immense power.

Comparing Robert to the Seven Kings of Hackers made Ye Chui laugh. “He once said that even if the Seven Kings of Hackers were here, he could resolve their issues in minutes.”

Left Xiaoyou was stunned. She was shocked not by Robert’s seemingly joking words but because she believed Robert might actually have such abilities. Or maybe he was one of the Seven Kings?

“How did you meet him?” Left Xiaoyou continued to probe, becoming uncharacteristically agitated.

Ye Chui smiled sheepishly. “He’s a programmer in my studio. I saw a game he posted on the Software Alliance, the prototype of Tetris, and thought it was pretty good. So, I sent him a message asking to meet. I wanted to acquire the rights to his block-building game. He insisted on joining my studio...”

Who could have thought that a casual message would bring such a top-tier hacker into Ye Chui’s fold?

Left Xiaoyou was at a loss for words. So, this super powerful hacker was Ye Chui’s programmer, and he had begged to work with Ye Chui?

The female employees at Fork Warden Network Company shyly glanced at Robert. With his supermodel physique and looks, coupled with his impressive performance, he exuded overwhelming male charm. Of course, if he didn’t speak in that thick rural accent, he would be even more attractive.

“How... how did you do it? How could Skull Seven be so easily cleared? How did you do it?” Liu Jincheng walked up to Robert with admiration, feeling utterly regretful about his previous arrogance.

“It’s simple. This thing has a vulnerability. Once you find it, it’s easy to clear,” Robert said nonchalantly.

“A vulnerability? Impossible! Skull Seven was invincible in the hacker world. How could it have a vulnerability?” Liu Jincheng pressed further.

“There’s no such thing as perfection. Every virus has a flaw,” Robert explained with deep meaning. “If Skull Seven didn’t have a vulnerability, why would its creator destroy all the viruses?”

So, the creator destroyed all copies of the virus because someone discovered its vulnerability?

Liu Jincheng had never heard this theory before.

“That’s not right,” Fang Xi suddenly thought of something. “You all said Skull Seven was destroyed. So, how did we get infected?”

Liu Jincheng couldn’t answer this question, feeling puzzled. He had deduced that the virus was Skull Seven based on the symptoms and his research but couldn’t figure out how it infected them.

Ye Chui was also curious and looked at Robert.

“Because this isn’t Skull Seven,” Robert said leisurely. “Someone reprogrammed a virus based on Skull Seven’s template. Unfortunately, their skills were a bit lacking. If it were the real Skull Seven, all the servers would overload and crash within three minutes of infection.”

“This... this isn’t the real Skull Seven?” Everyone was stunned. Even a knock-off Skull Seven was this difficult to handle; how terrifying must the real one be? The rumors about it causing a cyber disaster seemed credible.

What was even more surprising was that Robert knew so much. His mysterious identity became even more intriguing.

“I heard Ye Chui say you work at his studio...” After a moment of silence, Liu Jincheng, breathing heavily, addressed Robert. “Please join my company. I’m willing to pay a high salary!”

Fang Xi’s face changed immediately, and Ye Chui frowned. This guy was openly trying to poach talent?

Fang Nan was ready to punch Liu Jincheng.

“Sorry, I’m doing well with Fork God and don’t plan to leave,” Robert replied.

“How much is he paying you?” Liu Jincheng eagerly asked, determined to offer a higher price no matter what.

“Three thousand a month,” Robert replied with a satisfied look.

“Three thousand!?” Liu Jincheng exclaimed.

Left Xiaoyou and the other employees were equally shocked. Three thousand yuan was a decent salary for an average job but seemed absurdly low for someone of Robert’s caliber.

Meanwhile, Ye Chui, Fang Nan, and Fang Xi felt embarrassed. Ye Chui earned at least five million per game, and Fang Nan, Fang Xi, and Bai Miyun each received a 15% share, amounting to a million each. This meant Ye Chui’s monthly income was over twenty million, and the others made four to five million. Yet, Robert only received a paltry three thousand...

This was quite unfair.

Especially since Robert looked so content...

“I’ll pay ten thousand a month!” Liu Jincheng shouted. “Join my Jin Cheng Network Security Company, and I’ll pay you ten thousand a month plus bonuses!”

He believed such a generous offer would surely attract Robert.

“I refuse,” Robert replied bluntly.

“Why?” Liu Jincheng asked, puzzled.

Robert glanced at Ye Chui and smiled. “Because with Fork God, I get to play games!”

“I... I can offer more money...” Liu Jincheng continued, unwilling to give up.

But Left Xiaoyou, with a frosty expression, interrupted him. “Mr. Liu, please leave now that our virus issue is resolved.”

“Let me talk to Robert a bit more...” Liu Jincheng pleaded.

“Security!” Left Xiaoyou wasted no time and called for security to escort Liu Jincheng out.

After he left, she looked at Robert with newfound curiosity. In her mind, her esteem for Ye Chui rose even higher. To have such a mysterious and talented person willingly follow him...

It showed Ye Chui was the real genius here.

After Liu Jincheng left, Ye Chui awkwardly approached Robert. “I think three thousand a month is a bit low. I should give you a raise.”

Robert’s face lit up. “Fork God, you’re giving me a raise?”

“Um... how about three thousand five hundred a month?” Ye Chui said with a smile.
