ABCFWGR Chapter 141: Black Hawk

   Meanwhile.

There was a major disturbance at the Xun Residence.

When Falcon sneaked into the study, he triggered a very concealed alarm system.

   In an instant.

The entire Xun Residence was brightly lit, and countless shadows moved.

Han Lie and Black Hawk, who were waiting in the Iveco, naturally also heard the alarm and their faces changed drastically.

"Falcon failed, I'm going to save him."

Han Lie didn’t dare to delay for a moment and got up to get out of the car.

   But Black Hawk grabbed him.

"Black Hawk, why are you stopping me?" Han Lie turned and asked.

"Look at the shadows on the wall, there aren’t few people there. I can't watch you go to your death." Black Hawk analyzed calmly.

"Falcon is in a predicament, do you expect me to watch him die? When did you become so timid?" Han Lie said discontentedly.

   "I..."

Black Hawk didn’t expect him to say that, his eyes showed some hurt, but he still insisted, "Act after planning. If you go alone, you’re just sacrificing yourself. Gather some people and rescue him together, that's the right way!"

   "I can't wait even a moment!"

Han Lie slapped his hand away, "If you're scared, I won't force you, but you can't stop me from saving him. You stay here and get reinforcements."

As he reached the side of the car.

Han Lie stopped for a moment and said in a deep voice, "If it were you trapped, neither I nor Falcon would hesitate for a second. You... you’ve really disappointed me!"

After speaking, he rushed along the wall without looking back.

Black Hawk watched his running figure, clenched his fists tightly, and punched the ground, leaving a fist mark.

He then took a few deep breaths, pulled out his phone, and contacted the Bafang Group's personnel.

"Bring people to the Xun Residence immediately!"

   Hanging up the phone.

Black Hawk stood up resolutely, and from the backpack behind him, pulled out a long-sealed Tang sword.

   "Shing!"

A cold light flashed, seemingly able to cut through hair.

Black Hawk's face returned to its cold expression, dragging his lame right leg, he jumped out of the car.

   Yes, he was a cripple.

The three of them, who had crawled out from piles of corpses, were more or less left with some disabilities.

Falcon's was his throat, Han Lie's was psychological, and Black Hawk's was his right leg.

The blade scraped across the ground.

Making a harsh sound, with sparks flying.

"Catch those two, dead or alive!"

The voice of the commander echoed in the Xun Residence.

Along with the sounds of fighting.

"Those who harm my brothers, die!"

A figure stepped forward, ran up the wall, leaped in mid-air, a flash of cold light.

With the force of splitting a mountain, truly dismembering bones and flesh.

   Shing!

   Blood splattered everywhere.

A complete body immediately split into two halves, falling in two different directions.

The tip of the Tang sword dripped blood.

Black Hawk, like a god of death in the night, swiftly charged at the next target.

   "He's back!"

Han Lie and Falcon exchanged glances, as if ignited with fighting spirit, they fought fiercely like tigers and wolves.

   Meanwhile.

Gu Chen, sitting in the living room avoiding the cold, watching TV, received a call from Tan Bafang.

   "Mr. Gu, something's happened."

Tan Bafang's tone was somewhat unstable.

   "What's going on, explain clearly?"

   Gu Chen asked calmly.

"Han Lie and his two brothers are trapped in the Xun Residence."

"I only found out about this after they requested help from headquarters. It took me a while to figure out that he was working for you," Tan Bafang explained, not to complain but to prevent Gu Chen from blaming Han Lie.

Although Tan Bafang was upset that Han Lie had kept him in the dark, he was genuinely happy for Han Lie, who had earned Gu Chen's recognition. However, he was frustrated that Han Lie had bungled the task again, just as he had with the He Yuan incident.

"Did you call to defend Han Lie or to ask me to intervene?" Gu Chen's tone was neutral, giving no hint of his emotions.

Tan Bafang couldn't discern his mood and could only respond truthfully, "Both, Mr. Gu. To be honest, Han Lie and his two brothers are top talents. If they hadn't encountered trouble, they wouldn't be working under me."

"Moreover, I can't afford to offend the people behind the Xun Residence. To save their lives, I... I have to ask for your help."

Gu Chen didn't answer immediately but asked, "Do you know who is in the Xun Residence?"

"I don't know much, but I can confirm that they are people from the Northwest Wolf group. I'm not sure why they are in Lin'an," Tan Bafang replied.

"Northwest Wolf, shooting the heavenly wolf, drawing the strong bow like a full moon," Gu Chen murmured.

"You know Sun Mangong?" Tan Bafang was a bit surprised.

The poem Gu Chen recited referred to Sun Mangong, the leader of the Northwest Wolf group.

"I will go to the Xun Residence to take a look, but whether I take action depends on Han Lie and his brothers' abilities," Gu Chen said, ignoring Tan Bafang's question and sounding somewhat indifferent.

"I understand. Everything... will be left to fate," Tan Bafang said bitterly.

Gu Chen agreeing to take a look was already a great favor, and Tan Bafang didn't dare to ask for more. After all, it was Han Lie's repeated failures that had led to this, and it was understandable that Gu Chen was indifferent.

No matter the reason, a failed task was a failed task.

There was no excuse!

Before leaving.

Gu Chen went upstairs to the bedroom to take a look.

Shuang Han was still in the position he had left her, lying spread-eagle on the floor.

"Bastard, you still have the nerve to come back?" Shuang Han cursed with a mix of shame and anger.

"I'm going out. I just wanted to make sure you wouldn't die in my bedroom and bring bad luck," Gu Chen said coldly, but then he picked her up in his arms and walked to the bed.

"Bastard, don't touch me!"

"Let go of me!"

"I don't need your help even if I die!"

Shuang Han struggled weakly, shouting and cursing.

Gu Chen didn't humor her at all and threw her onto the bed, almost bringing tears to her eyes from the pain.

Then, Gu Chen picked up a dusty Tuo Tai pill from the floor, pinched her jaw, and forced it into her mouth.

"You’ve developed a lot of bad habits. You're far worse than your sister."

Mentioning Zhiqiu, a flash of sadness crossed Gu Chen's eyes but quickly disappeared.

He rarely showed any weakness in front of anyone.

"Bastard, you cruel executioner, you're not worthy to mention my sister. There will never be another person in this world who loves you like she did. You deserve to go to the eighteenth level of hell..." Shuang Han's curses were muffled as Gu Chen quickly stuffed a cloth into her mouth, fearing that his emotions might get out of control again.

After stuffing the cloth, he was puzzled as to when there had been a piece of cloth on his bed. But he didn't think much of it and turned to leave.

"Mmm mmm mmm~"

Shuang Han made angry noises as she watched him walk away.

Unfortunately, with her mouth gagged, she couldn't get any of her curses out.

"You'd better behave, don't force me to deal with you!" Gu Chen warned angrily as he was about to close the door.

If she weren't Zhiqiu's sister, Gu Chen would have really wanted to sew her mouth shut.
