MSSU Chapter 37: Odd Duo
"Luofeng, don't get too reckless. This isn't your territory, and there's no one from the Gu family here," even at this moment, Chu Yunfan threatened stubbornly.
"Help! Is anybody there?" The wealthy heiress called out to the security outside the door.
But the corridor outside was empty. If they were to run out now, they would surely see that the hallway was filled with people.
Only the cold and indifferent sisters stood silently guarding the door.
"Stop shouting, there's nobody coming," Luofeng said to the group. "If you don't want to get beaten up, then leave now before I get violent."
"You... are you going to abandon me? What about our brotherhood, our shared prosperity?" Just as Chu Yunfan spoke, the spoiled sons of wealthy families abandoned him in fear.
Chu Yunfan sat on the sofa, terrified, clutching his battered face.
Luofeng shook his head and chuckled, sitting down. "Speak up. Where is Master Qiu?"
"What Master Qiu? I really don't know..."
"Bang!" A liquor bottle smashed hard against Chu Yunfan's head, causing blood to flow, and he cried out in pain.
"Where is he? I'm asking again."
"Luofeng, you scoundrel! I'm the future heir of the Chu family! Don't you know..."
Another bottle was hurled at him, leaving Chu Yunfan bloody and in agony, crying out in pain.
"He's at the Chu family, at my uncle's house! Please, stop hitting me. Someone's going to die if you keep going."
"You should have said that earlier. There was no need for you to suffer," Luofeng said, pulling a handkerchief from Chu Yunfan's pocket to wipe away the blood from his forehead. He patted Chu Yunfan's shoulder gently. "There, there, don't cry. Now lead the way. Do you know how to get there?"
"Yes, I know," Chu Yunfan replied meekly, completely devoid of any defiance after being beaten by Luofeng.
Soon, Chu Yunfan drove Luofeng to the Chu family's residence.
"We're here. Follow me," Chu Yunfan said hurriedly as they entered the Chu family's compound.
"Miss, are you sure about this place?" The sisters frowned, sensing the danger lurking within the Chu family.
However, Luofeng, holding his head, walked in confidently. "As long as you're here, what is there to fear? Just remember to protect me and watch my performance."
With that, Luofeng strolled into the Chu family villa's hall. There, he saw Chu Yunfan standing next to Chu Zangfeng, no longer the groveling lackey he had been before.
"Uncle, this scoundrel hit me. You have to do something for me," Chu Yunfan complained bitterly.
"Are you Luofeng?" Chu Zangfeng sat calmly at the tea table, pouring himself a cup and glancing up at Luofeng.
"I understand," Luofeng glanced around and said calmly, "Your intention is to come after me. Master Qiu was just a decoy you used to lure me here. Are you planning to avenge your son?"
"You're quite clever, but also foolish," Chu Zangfeng blew on his tea, took a sip, and continued, "Since you know I intentionally lured you here, you shouldn't have come to your death willingly."
"Who dies is still uncertain," Luofeng replied.
"Is that so?" Chu Zangfeng sneered and suddenly stood up. "Attack!"
With his command, dozens of Chu family guards hidden in the villa sprang into action.
"You scoundrel! Watch as you dare to be arrogant now! Prepare to die!" Chu Yunfan shouted triumphantly.
But before he could finish, Chu Zangfeng slapped him hard across the face.
"Why did you hit me, Uncle?"
"Have some dignity in your speech. Don't make yourself look like a ruffian, embarrassing the Chu family," Chu Zangfeng said before turning to Luofeng. "If you want to save the two from the Qiu family, first deal with these people."
With that, Chu Zangfeng left through the back door.
Soon, the sounds of fighting echoed from inside the villa.
Luofeng had already sprung into action, taking on the Chu family guards.
Though skilled, none of these guards could match Luofeng's prowess.
In less than a few minutes, they were all lying on the ground defeated.
"Is that all?" Luofeng chuckled, then pointed to Chu Yunfan cowering in the corner. "Come here and repeat what you just said to me."
"Oh my God, are you... are you really this powerful?" Chu Yunfan trembled in fear, kneeling on the ground, tears streaming down his face.
Watching as Luofeng had already drawn his Seven Wolves leather whip and approached with a smirk, Chu Yunfan shouted loudly, "Uncle, uncle, help! This scoundrel is coming!"
Just as Luofeng raised the Seven Wolves leather whip, intending to whip Chu Yunfan fiercely to force Chu Zangfeng to show up, two sturdy figures suddenly stepped out from the second floor.
It was the two bodyguards behind the woman from yesterday.
These two bodyguards, with dark skin and tattoos covering their bodies, looked especially imposing. What caught Luofeng's attention was the fact that their arms were tattooed with Martian script that he couldn't understand.
The bald bodyguard, looking down at Luofeng, sneered, "Thought you were some tough guy. Turns out you're just a little brat who hasn't grown up yet."
The long-haired bodyguard said leisurely, "I wonder how the people sent by the organization died. They actually made my brother and me take action."
Both of them burst into laughter, emitting a terrifying aura.
But abruptly, the laughter stopped, and the bald bodyguard, about to say something, suddenly froze in place.
Why?
Because Luofeng had disappeared.
"Huh, where did he go?"
"Here I am," Luofeng's voice came from behind the bald bodyguard.
Suddenly turning around, the bald bodyguard only heard a muffled sound as Luofeng, wielding a baseball bat he had picked up from who knows where, smashed it solidly onto the bald bodyguard's nose.
Following that was a flurry of attacks, catching the bald bodyguard off guard.
"You little brat, you're not following the rules. I wasn't ready yet, and you dare to attack first. I'm angry now, and the consequences will be severe!"
The bald bodyguard, never having suffered such humiliation, shouted angrily as he leaped into the air, muscles bulging with fury.
"Bang!"
Another muffled sound, Luofeng's speed was incredible, not giving the bald bodyguard a chance to catch his breath as he once again knocked him to the ground with a baseball bat.
As Luofeng continued his brutal actions, he couldn't help but mock, "You talk too much. Don't you know that villains die from talking too much?"
"Hmph, idiot," the long-haired bodyguard sneered as he saw his companion being beaten, "Let me handle this."
Stepping forward, the long-haired bodyguard turned into a blur, like a cheetah pouncing towards Luofeng.
"Eat my move, Starving Tiger Pounces for Food!" the long-haired bodyguard roared.
"Starving Tiger Pounces for Food? Looks more like Starving Tiger Pounces for Shit," just then, the elegant woman stepped forward, pulling out a pistol from her waist.
The long-haired bodyguard, who had just looked confident, froze in place, terrified as he stared at the gun shoved into his mouth, sweat streaming down his face.
"Even skilled fighters fear knives. Don't you know that? What era is this? Still fighting barehanded," Luofeng said, looking at the long-haired bodyguard, "And since you're ambushing, why shout so loudly? Afraid I wouldn't know?"
"Fine, shout all you want. But why pick such a cheesy name, Starving Tiger Pounces for Food?"
"Third Young Master, shall I just blow his brains out?" the elegant woman said indifferently.
Instantly, the two burly bodyguards were almost paralyzed with fear.
"Big brother, please... don't kill me. I'm just an ordinary hitman, pretending to be cool," the bald bodyguard cried, his face uglier than if he were crying.
"Yes, yes, we're just an atmospheric duo. Our skills are really just average," the long-haired bodyguard said tearfully.
"No skills but still pretending to be experts, pretending to be big villains?" Luofeng swung the baseball bat hard at the bald bodyguard's head.
"I hate bald guys the most, you know?" the bald bodyguard cried, explaining through his pain, "Brother, it's not my fault, I didn't want to be bald, I have oily hair loss."
Seeing the bald bodyguard fall silent, Luofeng patted his head meaningfully, "Sorry, my mistake."
But as soon as he finished speaking, Luofeng swung the baseball bat again, hitting him on the bald head.
"Why are you hitting me again, brother? And why are you only hitting me?" the bald bodyguard was about to collapse.
If it weren't for the elegant woman holding a gun, he would definitely fight Luofeng to the death.
"But... I also hate tattoos. Tattoos are tattoos, why do you have Martian script tattooed on your right arm? I can't understand a word of it, what does it mean?"
"Brother, it means 'loyalty to the country and patriotism'," the bald bodyguard cried.
"Get out of the way and change it to that," Luofeng kicked the bald bodyguard away and turned his gaze to the long-haired bodyguard.
The long-haired bodyguard quickly covered his tattoos, trembling in fear.
"Brother, my tattoos are normal, and I'm not bald."
"Bang!"
Luofeng swung the baseball bat again, not for any reason, just because he wanted to, that's all.
There was no other way, the elegant woman had a gun, so he was being reckless.
"It's no wonder you're a successor of the Seven Great Skills. Your behavior and demeanor are truly extraordinary," the elegant woman said sarcastically, "***, are you trying to be funny?"
Just then, on the second floor above, the woman in a white tight-fitting suit, with an imposing figure, walked out.
Behind her were the two granddaughters of the Qiu family, tied up like pigs.
