SRGA Chapter 54 Grandpa Luo Bingning is here!

Lin Tian didn't pay much attention to what was being said online, how many trending topics he had, or how many new fans he gained. After finishing the livestream, he focused on what mattered most to him: finding treasure chests.

"I still have to post videos every day. Where could those treasure chests be hiding?"

Lin Tian wondered to himself as he drove around a busy area in S City. Despite seeing tens of thousands of people within a span of two to three hours, he didn't spot a single treasure chest.

"I'll try going to a university campus tomorrow. Or maybe I'll hang out at the busiest subway station the day after. Oh, and Disneyland! There's always a lot of foot traffic there. Maybe I'll find a treasure chest near the entrance."

Lin Tian made mental notes of his plans as he drove around.

Suddenly, his phone rang, and it was Luo Bingning calling.

"Lin Tian, do you have time? Could you go to the airport to pick someone up for me? I have a very important meeting and can't leave," Luo Bingning said, sounding a bit embarrassed.

Lin Tian chuckled, "I've told you before, my schedule is pretty flexible. Who's coming, and why do I need to pick them up?"

"It's my grandpa."

"He didn't even tell my dad. He just bought a plane ticket to S City on his own. I think he's coming to see you," Luo Bingning explained.

Lin Tian's heart skipped a beat. Luo Bingning's grandfather? While he knew that Luo Bingning's grandfather was very supportive of their relationship, he couldn't help but wonder if his support was influenced by past events. Now that they were actually married, Luo Bingning's grandfather might have some regrets.

"Luo Bingning, doesn't your grandfather have bodyguards?" Lin Tian asked, puzzled.

Luo Bingning replied, "He usually has bodyguards with him when he goes out, but this time he deliberately avoided them."

"He used to be a reconnaissance soldier, so even though he's not in the best shape now, if he wants to avoid the bodyguards, there's not much they can do," Luo Bingning added.

"Lin Tian, don't worry. Grandpa is very supportive of our marriage," Luo Bingning reassured him.

Lin Tian smiled, "Luo Bingning, are you worried? What if your grandpa regrets it now that we're really married?"

"Why would I be worried?" Luo Bingning replied, sounding a bit flustered.

"I'll send you the flight information. Please go pick up my grandpa. I'll finish my meeting early and meet you at home for dinner," Luo Bingning said before quickly ending the call.

After hanging up, she felt a bit absent-minded. They were married now, and she didn't really want to divorce Lin Tian. Maybe they should give it a try for three years and see how things went?

"He's probably just coming to check on how we're doing and make sure I'm not being mistreated," Luo Bingning thought to herself.

She quickly sent Lin Tian the flight information, and he headed to the airport. By the time he arrived, the flight was about to land.

"Oh!"

As the plane descended, Luo Bingning's grandfather, Luo Yongqian, let out a soft sigh. His expression was somewhat complex.

He had arranged for Luo Bingning and Lin Tian to marry, partly to make up for what had happened in the past. However, since they had gotten married and moved in together, he had trouble sleeping for over a week. His sleep quality had deteriorated significantly.

Luo Bingning was his precious granddaughter, and if she and Lin Tian were unhappy in their marriage, what would he do?

"Although Lin Tian is a bit ordinary, he's a good kid. I hope they're not having any conflicts," Luo Yongqian murmured to himself.

After disembarking, he walked quite a distance in the airport before reaching the arrival gate.

Lin Tian spotted Luo Yongqian as soon as he saw him. Luo Bingning had sent him pictures of her grandfather.

"Luo Grandpa, I'm Lin Tian," Lin Tian approached Luo Yongqian and introduced himself.

Luo Yongqian was taken aback and looked at Lin Tian with disbelief. He had Lin Tian's information and pictures, but there was quite a difference between the pictures and the person standing in front of him.

Lin Tian used to be just a bit handsome, but now he was undeniably handsome.

"Lin, where's Bingning?" Luo Yongqian asked, suppressing his surprise.

Lin Tian smiled, "Bingning has an important meeting and couldn't come. She asked me to pick you up. She'll be back after the meeting to cook dinner. We should be able to eat as soon as we get home."

"Mm," Luo Yongqian nodded.

Lin Tian drove Luo Yongqian to the parking lot.

"Lin, how's your driving? It's better to drive a bit faster. My whereabouts might have been exposed, and someone might be following us," Luo Yongqian furrowed his brows as he got into the car.

Lin Tian was surprised. Luo Yongqian, a former reconnaissance soldier, noticed the tailing just like a martial arts master would. It was impressive.

"Luo Grandpa, things are different now from before," Lin Tian started the car and explained. "Phones are like GPS trackers, and even buying plane tickets could expose your location. It's not as simple as it used to be."

"I was careless," Luo Yongqian admitted.

"You need to try to shake off anyone following us. If we can't lose them, we should find a hotel to stay in instead of going home," Luo Yongqian suggested.

"As long as you don't get car sick," Lin Tian replied with a smile.

He stepped on the gas pedal, and the car quickly surged forward. Despite the heavy traffic at this hour, Lin Tian skillfully maneuvered through it.

"Damn!"

The people tailing them soon gave up their pursuit, unable to keep up with Lin Tian's driving.

"Lin, you're quite the driver," Luo Yongqian remarked, surprised. "How many years of driving experience do you have?"

Luo Yongqian didn't have that information from the dossier he received.

Lin Tian brought Luo Yongqian to the parking lot.
